Andries began his vocal training at a young age, joining his elementary school choir as an alto sometime in the mid 90’s. In the subsequent decades, all the choir performances, solos, duets, and even forays into barbershop singing have only helped hone his vocal range and control. It was through (un)healthy doses of Saturday morning cartoons, however, where his true passion was formed: voice acting.
In 2011, Andries took his first steps toward becoming a voice actor when he enrolled in the Illinois Center for Broadcasting (now Illinois Media School), where he earned his vocational degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting. More importantly, though, the program equipped him with the knowledge and skills he needed to take his dream to the next level.
In recent years, Andries has lent his voice to hundreds of projects and companies including Microsoft, Sothebys, Carle, and V2. Click here to see a list of other clients. Andries is fluent in Afrikaans and English, and proficient in Spanish.
